CHAPTER 3
John’s Commission; Rev 1:1 – 20
This chapter focuses on the command given to the believer to study the book of Revelation. It is also discussed how the principles of Revelation are to be applied in our daily lives.
“The Revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave unto him to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and He sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John.” (Rev 1:1) God ordained that we would understand His plan of redemption for man.
“But He answered and said, it is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.” (Matt 4:4)
“Blessed is he that reads and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein, for the time is at hand.” (Rev 1:3) Believers are commanded to read, hear and keep the prophecy of Revelation. Satan has intimidated most of the body of Christ from fulfilling this command.
We must understand what it means to keep the prophecy. When our daily living faith is rooted in the principles of the prophecy, we are thereby keeping the prophecy. By keeping the prophecy we fulfill our portion of the prophecy. Fulfilling our portion of the prophecy is our purpose.

CHAPTER 4
LETTERS TO THE CHURCHES
REVELATION 2:1 – 3:22
Aggressive attacks on the present day church were operational in the days of the seven churches in Revelation 2:1-3:22. Driving the church as far from Jesus as possible is a working scheme of darkness. The further the church is driven from Jesus the more of a foundation is laid for the revealing of the Antichrist.
Satan has succeeded in establishing a part of Christianity which only professes Jesus with their mouths. Unsaved Christianity does not possess His life. Reliance is upon their good works for access to heaven. Scripture declares that those who rely on their good works are still under the curse. “For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse.” (Gal 3:10)
In this chapter we study the different spiritual states of Christianity. We can examine our own hearts and commitment to the Lord when studying the letters to the churches.

Chapter 5
BEGINNING OF THE TRIBULATION PERIOD
REVELATION 4:1 – 11
Revelation chapter 4 begins the “hereafter” time period that John was commanded to write. “Hereafter” is the period of time following the rapture of the church. John is instructed to come up through the open door to heaven. He will now witness the fulfillment of the hereafter time period.
Also known as Daniel’s Prophecy of 70 weeks, the Tribulation Period fulfills two divine purposes. One purpose is to pour out divine wrath on unsaved man for his sins. Unsaved man will have his faith tested to which he can repent or continue in his rebellion.
A second purpose is to prepare the nation of Israel to receive her King.

Chapter 6
Burden for the lost
This chapter gives some simple and basic witnessing techniques as revealed in scripture. Compassion and love should be our response to the crisis that most of mankind is speeding toward the Great White Throne judgment. Standing before Jesus in a state of guilt they will receive no mercy. Keeping the prophecy entails advancing the saving message of the gospel.
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” (Matt 28:19-20)

Chapter 7
Sinner’s Prayer
“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” (Is 1:18)
If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior you are invited to do so at this time. Today is the acceptable day of salvation for tomorrow is not promised.
If you are sincere and serious about having your sins forgiven, escaping eternal damnation, and coming to know the purpose that God created you to fulfill then repeat this prayer:
Father God in Heaven, I confess to you that I have lived a life of a habitual sinner. Lord I confess that I have broken your Ten Commandments. I ask that you forgive me for every sin that I have ever committed. I repent and turn from a life that is not acceptable to you. I renounce my sinful nature, its pleasures, passions and comforts. I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross and shed His perfect blood. I believe that through the blood of Jesus Christ I have forgiveness of every sin that I have ever committed. I believe that after He died on the cross that you raised Him from the dead. He was resurrected on the third day and is alive today. Lord Jesus I invite you into my life right now. Jesus take possession of my heart right now for you are welcome to dwell within me. Wash me and cleanse me by the mighty cleansing power that is in your shed blood. Holy Spirit lead me, guide me and give me understanding of the purpose that I am to fulfill. It is my desire to fulfill the calling that you have placed on my life. In Jesus name. Amen.
Brother or sister if you meant that prayer then Jesus now lives in your life. It is important for you to grow in your new found faith and to spiritually mature:
